Who Are We?

The Music Ministry of First Assembly of God comes from the hearts of people; people who are called and anointed by the spirit of God.  Scripture  teaches  that we should worship the Lord with instruments and voices, making melody in our hearts, that we should make a joyful noise unto the Lord!  It is the desire of the Music Ministries to offer praise and worship to God following biblical examples.

The Music Ministry is made up of people who want to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength.  We are the Sanctuary Choir, the Sanctuary Orchestra, Praise Teams, Ensembles, and Soloists. We have special occasion groups such as Men's Choir, Seniors' Choir, Children's Choir, Youth Choir and Drama Teams.

The Technical Support Teams are a vital part of the Music Ministry.  They include Sound, Lighting, Video Crews and the Tape Ministries.

What We Do?

We have the privilege of providing music ministry in our services on a regular basis.  Our goal is to glorify God and lead our congregation into His presence through anointed praise and worship.  The Sanctuary Choir, Orchestra, and Praise Teams participate in both the AM and PM services on Sundays.

We also have seasonal productions that are fully staged musicals with costumes, lighting, and sets.  These provide an opportunity for people to get involved in ministry who may not have musical ability.

Our Music Services?

People of all ages are active in music ministry.  Our children present fully staged, heart touching musicals.  The youth participate in the Fine Arts program as soloists, instrumentalists, and ensembles.  The Happy Hearts, senior ministry, is very active musically.

We have special all music services when the music department leads the entire service.

We invite guest musicians in for special occasions such as Homecoming or the annual Thanksgiving Praise and Worship Service.

The music ministry hosts First Assembly of God's Living Nativity.  This outdoor nativity scene with living characters and animals bring inspiration to our fellowship and the community during the Christmas Season.
