Women's Ministries, (WM's) is a vital part of
the outreach of First Assembly. WM's is comprised of women
of all ages who love the Lord and come together in
friendship and fellowship as a means of support and
encouragement for each other. But we are not just a social
club - we reach out in ministry to others in many ways.
We have adopted and help support a missionary family.
We help stock the "Sunshine Room" at the District Office
with household goods so that missionaries at home on leave
can get what they need.
We pledge and give yearly contributions to Missions.
We support a Christmas project that provides Christmas
Stockings to needy children.
We provide comfort and support to bereaved families of the
church. |
